Delgermaa is making his seventh Championship start. He competed in each of the first five editions of the Asia-Pacific Amateur and has competed in China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and the Republic of Korea. Earlier this year, he won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Mongolia and finished runner-up in the Mongolian National Amateur Open Championship.
