Swanwick is making his second Championship start in 2026 and first since 2023 when he finished T-12 at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia. Earlier this year, the University of Florida junior finished runner-up in the Southern Amateur in Georgia and reached the round of 32 in the U.S. Amateur at Merion Golf Club. He was also part of the winning International team in the Arnold Palmer Cup in Ireland. In 2025, he reached the semifinals of the Western Amateur in Illinois and represented New Zealand in the Eisenhower Trophy in Singapore.
