Cao is making his second Championship start in 2026. Earlier this year, he won four World Amateur Golf Ranking events in China, finished 15th in the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Boys’ Junior Championship in Sri Lanka and competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Pennsylvania. He also won the Boys 13-14 division of the Hong Kong Junior Close Championship.
