Cao is making his first Championship start in 2025. Earlier this year, the Hong Kong Junior National Team member won two World Amateur Golf Ranking events in China as well as the Boys 11-12 division of the Hong Kong Junior Close Championship and the Boys 13-14 division of the Hong Kong Junior Open Championship.
