Luck won the 2016 Asia-Pacific Amateur at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in South Korea by one stroke over fellow countryman Brett Coletta as the world’s second-ranked amateur. Earlier that year, he won both the PGA Tour of Australasia’s Western Australian Open and U.S. Amateur and finished runner-up as an individual in the Eisenhower Trophy in Mexico. Entering the final round seven strokes off the lead, Luck secured his closing 67 and victory when he got up and down for birdie from a bunker on 18. As reigning champion, he earned low amateur honors in the 2016 Australian Open and competed in the 2017 Masters Tournament at Augusta National. Since turning professional, he has gone on to win on the Korn Ferry Tour and compete on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.
