Skaik is making his sixth Championship start in 2025. In 2021 at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, he hit the opening tee shot of the Asia-Pacific Amateur and went on to make the cut. Earlier this year, he won the Gulf Cooperation Council Championship in Saudi Arabia by 15 strokes and finished third in the Jordan Amateur Open. He has represented the United Arab Emirates in both the Eisenhower Trophy and the Asian Games.
