Hou is making his second Championship start in 2026. Earlier this year, the University of Southern California freshman reached the round of 64 in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Pennsylvania. In 2025, he won a CLPGQ event in China with a final-round 62, finished T-4 in the Boys Junior PGA Championship in Indiana and reached the round of 32 in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Texas.
