Hou is making his first Championship start in 2025. Earlier this year, he won a professional event in China with a final-round 62, finished T-4 in the Boys Junior PGA Championship in Indiana and reached the round of 32 in the U.S. Junior Amateur in Texas. In 2024, the University of Southern California commit had 10 top-10 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events in China and the United States.
