Alli is making his second Championship start in 2025. In 2023 in Australia, he became the first golfer representing Brunei to compete in the Asia-Pacific Amateur. Earlier this year, he won the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club Open Championship by seven strokes. He has represented Brunei in both the Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games.
