Pillay is making his third Championship start in 2026. Earlier this year in Fiji, he finished runner-up in the Eastern Amateur and third in both the Fiji Amateur and Western Amateur. In 2025, he won five World Amateur Golf Ranking events, including the Fiji Amateur and Fiji Open.
