Ahmed is making his second Championship start in 2025. Earlier this year, he won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in the United Arab Emirates and finished sixth in both the Gulf Cooperation Council Championship in Saudi Arabia and Sindh Amateur Championship in Pakistan. In 2024, he won the Gulf Cooperation Council Junior Championship in Qatar, finished runner-up in the Pan Arab Junior Championship in Tunisia and competed in the Boys Junior PGA Championship, U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Amateur in the United States.
