Ahmed is making his third Championship start in 2026. Earlier this year, the University of California, Irvine freshman won two World Amateur Golf Ranking events in the United Arab Emirates, finished fourth in a Faldo Series event in Sri Lanka and competed in the Amateur Championship in England. In 2025, he won events in Morocco, Oman and the United Arab Emirates and recorded sixth-place performances in both the Faldo Series Europe Grand Final and Pan Arab Championship.
