Rai is making his second Championship start in 2025. Earlier this year, he finished runner-up in a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Fiji and competed in the Australian Master of the Amateurs and the Royal Junior in Japan. In 2024, he won the Western Amateur Championship in Fiji to earn his first world ranking points.
