Ilyas will make his first Championship start. In 2024, he has won the Corps Commander’s Cup in Pakistan and recorded six other top-seven finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events. His 2023 included three wins and six top-10 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking events. Three years ago in 2021, he won the Pakistan National Amateur Championship by eight strokes over Salman Jehangir.
