Lee is making his second Championship start in 2026 and first since competing in 2024 in Japan. Earlier this year, he won two World Amateur Golf Ranking events in China and finished T-6 in the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Boys’ Junior Championship in Sri Lanka. In 2025, he won two events in China and recorded top-15 performances in both the Hong Kong Close Amateur and Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Boys’ Junior Championship in Hong Kong, China.
