Remata is making his first Championship start in 2025. Earlier this year, he won two World Amateur Golf Ranking events in the Philippines and competed in both the Chinese Taipei Amateur and the Singapore Open Amateur. In 2024, he finished third in the Philippine National Stroke Play and reached the quarterfinals of the Philippine Amateur Open.
